Grade 1A

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome back to Term Two. I hope you have all had an enjoyable and restful break. The students and I have been very busy in the classroom learning new concepts within all subject areas. It was a pleasure meeting all my students parents during parent-teacher interviews and closely discussing progress and areas for improvement.

We have several upcoming incursions this term and the students are overly excited for this. One is the Pamagirri Aboriginal Virtual Reality and secondly a visit to the Sunshine Fire Station.

This term is one which is going to be very emotional, as I will be going on maternity leave. My last day at school will be the 19th of May and I hope to return in Term 1 2019. I am going to miss all my existing, past students, parents and importantly my colleagues. It has been a pleasure teaching all my current students and watching them excel academically over the nearly two terms. I cannot thank you all enough for the endless support given to me over my teaching years. I wish all my students the very best in their current studies and years to follow.
